Susan Trivano, 54, was shot in the head and chest, and pronounced dead in an 11th-floor apartment on East 174th Street, the NYPD said. Suchari Guzman, 29, was shot in the chest and pronounced dead at Jacobi Medical Center, police said. The suspect, a 52-year-old man, shot himself in the head and is in critical condition at Jacobi hospital, police said. The 1-year-old girl was not injured. A firearm was recovered at the scene, the NYPD said. No arrests were made as of Thursday morning. The shootings took place about 2:30 p.m. and are believed to be the first homicides in the 43rd Precinct this year. The precinct had 10 homicides last year compared to eight in 2016.
